Last, but certainly not least is this vintage glam hair clip I designed for the photo shoot. I wanted something simple, but, beautifully detailed to compliment this fab, but, simple modern bridal gown by Veronica Sheaffer. Goes great with the dress, don't you think? I especially love the back of this gown...too cute!

{Modern Glam} Bridal Style
While the other jewelry in this collection (earrings, cocktail ring, necklace) has a bit of whimsy and romance, the wedding cuff bracelet is a more modern, bold + glamorous. The unique criss-cross crystal design was inspired by the soft bodice of this Veronica Sheaffer gown, which had a similar, but subtle pattern in it.
I *love* doing custom designs! :)

{Romantic, Whimsical, Glamorous} Bridal Style Part 3
After designing this and this for the Reverie Magazine photo shoot, I decided this Veronica Sheaffer dress needed a bit of fun ...and a bit of glam. My design process was very organic...no sketch...just crystals, supplies and my imagination. I knew I wanted a unique pendant necklace, which would make a statement, but, wouldn't compete with the soft & feminine dress.
So this is what I came up with....who knew whimsy and glamour would go together so beautifully? :)

{Romantic, Whimsical, Glamorous} Bridal Style Part 2
I mentioned in a previous post about the custom earrings I created.... so, the next piece a of jewelry I want to to spotlight is the matching custom ring I made especially for the Reverie Magazine photo shoot...isn't it cute?
The Veronica Sheaffer wedding gown didn't warrant a necklace, so, I opted to create a statement making cocktail ring for a bit of right hand sparkle. I also wanted a floral design - which is perfect for a romantic outdoor wedding. I absolutely love how it fits in with everything seamlessly...not overbearing or gaudy. I love this ring!

{Rainbow Chic} Bridesmaid's Style
The trick to having each bridesmaid wear a different color (or totally different dresses) is that the dresses must have at least one similar trait, which pulls everything together, making the look cohesive.
Where should your bridesmaids be similar? Depending on the style you want, you can start with choosing one of these details: fabric; dress length; color tone (pastels, brights, neutrals, one color, etc.), style (vintage, simple, romantic, bohemian, glamorous, strapless, etc.). It will be trial and error with your girls, but, I think it's worth a try for the beautiful effect that can come from it.

{Chic Wedding Style} Mother of the Bride
You want your mom to look gorgeous, elegant, modern and chic on your wedding day, right? Of course, you do! Well, then.... you must encourage her to take a peek at my favorite picks of Sophia Tolli's collection of special occasion dresses. Her one-shoulder dresses are totally on point for a woman wanting modern style, but, a timeless look, too.

{Elegant + Modern + Chic} Bridal Gowns by Sarah Janks
Sarah Janks has done a beautiful job of mixing romance, chic, modern and elegance in her bridal gown collections. There are gorgeous details in each one, but, no gown is fussy or over done. If I had to choose a favorite, it would be very hard, however, I will go with the silk sheath gown with embellished waist...elegant + chic-ness very well done!
